NAME’s Bylaws may be amended upon approval by the board of directors and in accordance with NAME Board Policy 2.1.4. (summarized below). In no case shall Bylaws be adopted in fewer than 30 calendar days from the date published for comment.
The Bylaws Committee shall: prepare, and submit for Board approval, drafts of Bylaws changes proposed in a motion approved by the Voting Membership or by the NAME Board of Directors; facilitate consideration and adoption of Bylaws changes in accordance with approved committee procedures; and disseminate adopted Bylaws to the Membership following an amendment.
