The Conference Story

Maybe the sweltering, record-breaking heat in Virginia was an indicator that inside the Colonial Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center, the sessions and events of the 8th Annual NAME Conference were focused on all the hot topics affecting Medicaid in the Schools programs across the country.

In March 2010 the NAME Board of Directors feared the impact of budget cuts in school districts and state government would be very low attendance, but Conference Co-Chairpersons Teresa Pastore (MA) and Amy Edwards (VA) reported 215 registered.
