National Issues - Conference Call March 18 and 19, 2008
- Status Report on the New and Proposed Federal Regulations and Policies Affecting School-Based Medicaid
- Approximately 140 NAME members participated in the National Issues teleconferences that were hosted by the NAME Governmental Affairs Committee on March 18 and 19th.
- Participants were given an update and status report on the recent CMS School-Based Medicaid regulations. Greg Morris, LEAnet Executive Director, provided an overview of the various activities and movements in Washington DC regarding the current and potential congressional moratoria that would prevent CMS from enacting these regulations.
